Annual Pumpkin Sale – October 1

Please join us on Saturday, October 1 from 9am – 1pm to pick up your fall decorations (pumpkins, mums, hay bales, cornstalks). There will also be lots of baked goods, popcorn and hot dogs to purchase as well as face painting and pumpkin decorating for the kids.

This is one of our most successful fundraisers to help raise money for great opportunities to benefit all the students at Jameson and Loranger. We are hoping this is going to be our biggest and best Pumpkin Sale yet!

We will be needing volunteers to help at the event and also to make some delicious baked goods. Please fill out and return the form below before September 28 to volunteer at the sale.

Teacher Appreciation Week

 

Our Annual Faculty Appreciation Week is May 2^nd – 6^th

The PTO has a fun week planned for our wonderful faculty and we need your help to make it a success.  Here are some ways you can help:

• Bringing in food items (fruit plates, cheese and crackers, veggie trays, muffins, cookies, etc.) for the staff to enjoy during the day
• Volunteering on Friday to help with classroom coverage while the teacher’s enjoy their yogurt parfaits.
• Donate gift cards for a raffle we are going to try to do throughout the week (Target, Wal-Mart, Beach Bagel, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Panera Bread, etc. ).

Jameson Family Valentine Dance

 

We hope you can join us for our 3nd annual PTO Jameson dance.

Date: Friday, February 5
Time: 6:00-8:00pm
Location: Jameson Gym

All PreK – 2nd grade students and families are invited, please note that this is not a drop-off event, all children need to have an adult in attendance.

Wear your favorite red, pink, white or or just your favorite dancing clothes and join us for a fun night of music and dancing! Enjoy all the latest Kidz Bop hits provided by DJ Webber using his sound equipment and lights! There will also be concessions for sale with all proceeds going to the Loranger-Jameson PTO.

Winter Wonderland!

Mark your calendars!  Join us on Friday, December 11 from 6:00-8:00pm at Jameson School for a festive Winter Wonderland Walk, perfect for every member of the family.

The walking path in the Jameson School woods will be filled with cheer and twinkling holiday lights, complete with a story book adventure!  Afterwards, warm up in the Jameson Gym with some homemade treats made by the OOB PTO and do a holiday craft!

Cost is $7 per family in advance, $10 at the door. All proceeds go to the PTO and the OOB Recreation Summer Camp Scholarship.

September PTO Meeting

When: Monday, September 14 @ 6:00pm
Where: Location has been moved to the Jameson Gym/Cafeteria so we can provide childcare by one of our wonderful 1st grade teachers, Miss Putnam.

We are very excited to have merged to a PreK-8 PTO and look forward to seeing lots of new faces and hearing new ideas at our next meeting. If you attended our meeting in August, we are hoping to see you again at this meeting.  We have tried to work through the logistics of merging the two PTOs and are going to focus this meeting on planning our Annual Pumpkin Sale, looking for volunteers to help with Box Tops and talk about upcoming events and fundraisers.  We also will be accepting nominations to officer positions.  We are hoping to have parent representation from both Jameson and Loranger to really help make our new PTO successful.

March is PTO Spirit Month!

The Jameson PTO is hoping this will be a “Fun”draiser for the kids to help raise money for class field trips.

Each Friday in the month of March we will have a special theme for dressing up.  We are asking just a $1 donation each Friday that your student dresses up, all money will go directly to class field trips. We think that this will be a fun way to raise some money and further build the sense of school spirit at Jameson.  Here are what we have planned for each Friday:

Friday (3/6) – Pajama day!
Wear your favorite pajamas to school!

Friday (3/13) – Favorite team day!
Wear your favorite team’s shirt or jersey!

Friday (3/20) – Decorate your head day!
Crazy hair or hat, you pick.  Have fun with it!

Wear your Jameson school shirt or Seagull colors (blue and white)!

Have fun and we can’t wait to see all the Jameson School Spirit in March!

Family “Early” Valentine Dance

Family Movie Night

 

Bring your pillows, comfy chairs, sleeping bags and wear your cozy pajamas for a night of relaxation and fun!

The Jameson PTO will be showing “Arthur Christmas” on the evening of Friday, December 12 from 6-8pm in the Jameson School Gym.  The cost is $3/pp or $10/family of four.  We will have popcorn, water and homemade baked goods to purchase as well.
